Since 2004, I have found myself trying to embrace a new environment, a new system and a new culture.

But I humbly adhere to the truth of not having ever forgotten who and what I am, and where I have come from.

Having such bearings, I have no fear at all of being culturally misguided.

My artworks reveal a justified sense of belonging to a world, or worlds in which all of us try our very best to

understand and to fit in. Such visual revelations are often contrary to our reflexed urgencies to isolate our true

self-beings, and thus making us edge towards a tendency to alienate ourselves from the outside elements. 

I have come to believe that only through interactions with different  individuals, entities and personalities,

regardless of race, culture and the so called social dimension, will I be able to expand fully my creativity,

and allow myself to experience a real artistic evolution.

Such an evolution would require energy from a strong source or origin.

I know well my origins. They come not only from the waters of the Philippines but from the Pacific itself.
